Create a separate browser for each person, project or task.
- Separate environments
- Each browser has its own profile, cookies and storage.
- Your computer and connection
- The shared browser runs on your hardware, with its traffic using your network and its data stored in that environment.
- Independent input
- Guest input goes to the shared browser. You can use your own mouse and keyboard at the same time.
Host requirements
The computer needs to stay awake, online and running BrowserSeat.
- CPU, memory and bandwidth
- Browsers consume CPU, memory, storage and bandwidth. The impact depends on the websites, your computer and how many browsers are active.
- Guest access to accounts
- A signed-in browser may perform real actions inside an account. Use appropriate account roles and share only the environment a guest needs.
